Hitchhiking

With only 100 miles between me and the Atlantic coast, today was the day. Time to embark on the final stretch of my hitchhiking adventure across the United States.

After spending a day touring the capital city of the United States, I hitchhike to the Chesapeake Bay and manage to catch a lift across the water on a boat.

I’d heard rumors that hitchhiking on the East Coast was tough. It was time to put that theory to the test and hitchhike with strangers into Washington DC.

After hanging out for a few days in Denver with a friend, I get picked up by a trucker couple from Tennessee and spend 30 hours living in a big-rig.

The wild adventure continues as I hitch a ride in a convertible, crash a wedding, shoot some guns, and meet a real hobo in Montana.

This update has me quickly passing through Idaho heading East on my way to Montana. I encounter my first weirdo and hitch a lift on a motorcycle.

My hitchhiking adventure speeds up as I randomly run into old friends, make some new ones, and discover pancake sandwiches. The best invention ever.

On my way through the state of Washington I hitched a ride on a bicycle, couchsurfed in Seattle, and was invited to a fairy festival in the woods.
